- Punta Carola: The most accessible (15 min walk from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno). Powerful right point + reef lefts. Hollow tubes on north swell (Dec-Apr), up to 10 feet. Ideal for intermediates – view of the lighthouse and sea lions on the sand.
- La Lobería: Versatile beach/reef, A-frame with rights and lefts. Consistent year-round, good for all levels. Snorkel with sea lions between sets – unique experience!
- Tongo Reef: Classic left for pros, 300m rides on big swells. Boat access only, Hawaiian-style tubes and zero crowd.
- El Cañon: Heavy left/right peak, similar to Popoyo. For experienced surfers, opens on strong swells.
- Others: Manglecito (isolated point left), Puerto Chino (mushy beachbreak for beginners/longboard).
Best season: December-April (north swells + warm water). May-November (more consistent south swells, but colder).
